Joselyn's Spotlight

Joselyn Belle Fullmer. Age 3. Birthday- March 25, 2005.

Jossi is my girliest girly girl! She loves all things princess and baby dolls.
She loves to go swimming, play with her cousin Trevan, take care of her baby brother Canyon, and go to Grandma's house whenever possible!!! In fact she prefers Grandma's (Bergstrom and Fullmer BOTH) to home.
...did I mention she love baby dolls...
...and her brother!!!!!!!!!!!! When Canyon was born I was worried that Joselyn would be the jealous sibling type because she is very much the center of attention type. However she surprised us all by loving that little boy more than anything!

Swimming

We went swimming for my nephew Trevan's 3rd birthday. It was also Canyon's first time at the pool...

...I think they all had fun what do you think?!

Christmas in Bethlehem

Our Ward Christmas Party this year was a large Christmas in Bethlehem production. For any of you who might not have done one before they are a lot of fun. We decorate the church like the streets of Bethlehem when Christ was born. There are a lot of shops to visit like the deli, butcher, baker, dress shop, toy maker, etc. And by the end we are visited by sheperds and wise men as the Savior is born in the stable. I was in charge of designing and running the main food booth for the ward dinner. We all get to dress up in native costumes.
Grandma Bergstrom had lot of great costumes for us to borrow.

Including Trenity's authentic Beduin robes and my skirt and headress that she bought in Jerusalem.
Canyon was the best dressed baby of the evening.

Christmas Tree Hunting

We finally got to go Christmas Tree hunting again this year! We love taking the kids up into the mountains to find our tree. Canyon opted to stay in the truck.
Of course we couldn't go without getting stuck! That would break tradition right? Oh well...Tire chains to the rescue!

The girls had fun playing in the snow.

And finally we find our tree...and of course like most years it is after dark. I like how Harley is weilding a large ax in this picture above Natalia's head. That can't be safe!

Harley's Spotlight

Time to spotlight my Harley Jean! Birthday November 6th, 8 years old.

Harley's proudest accomplishment recently was getting baptized this year. Her dad and I gave her brand new scriptures for her birthday. I will often notice that I haven't seen Harley in a while and go looking thru the house for her. I will find her in her room reading her scriptures and marking passages.

I've been to a lot of baptisms before but there was something special about this one. Harley lead the music for the songs during the baptism and when she was standing up front I had a small "vision" in my head of her wearing another white dress someday in the temple.

Harley loves to collect anything that is ittsy bittsy. If she can shove it in her pocket, purse, backpack, or anything it must be taken home and saved in hundreds of very small boxes. Consequently we have lots of random rocks, shells, bottle caps, doodles, etc, etc, etc...even broken toy bits, or glass. I try to go through it all on occasion and throw out the broken useless stuff. Usually she doesn't even notice.

Harley also loves to be a big sister. She climbed into bed to read a story to Canyon. I don't think she finished it before she fell asleep. I don't think you can hear it in the video but she was snoring loudly as Canyon just played happily. She can fall asleep in 5 minutes every night and she ALWAYS snores loudly. I wish I could fall asleep like that...without the snoring.

Natalia's Spotlight

Monday, DECEMBER 1, 2008
Natalia Jade Fullmer-9 years old-Birthday April 2. This girl is growing up so fast. I was looking at her yesterday and I just realized that she is loosing her little girl look and turning into a raving beauty! I pointed this out to her dad and he looked at her for a moment, frowned, and said "we'll just start feeding her only Twinkies". I thought that might work but I'm not sure it's a good idea to mess with her health. I think we could just lock her in the closet when the boys start calling.

...these are a few of my favorite things (sung like Julie Andrews)....Natalia's absolute favorite food is watermelon! She loves to swim and ski. She also LOVES to sing and play musical instruments....And her favorite person in the whole world...her brother Canyon! I know what your thinking..."Can that be true?!?! I thought it was her Daddy!". Alas yes, he has been bumped down to #2 by this adorable little bundle. I wonder though how long that will last as he grows into the "annoying little brother".

Cindy's Spotlight

Wednesday, NOVEMBER 26, 2008 (apparently the auto date takes effect when you upload the photos, not when you actually post.)

Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!! I FINALLY HAVE INTERNET AGAIN!!!!! For those of you who don't know or just didn't realize, I have been Internet poor for 4 weeks because of our recent move. But all went well and we are now settled back in Driggs, Idaho AGAIN.

So on to the Cindy spotlight! First and foremost I love being a mom! My children bring me more joy than I can verbalize. They also however bring me more frustration than I think any human should have to endure (on occasion). But what makes life great is that I CHOOSE to remember and dwell on the JOY!!!I don't know where Joselyn was when we took this picture but I love it so we'll just have to do without her in this one! But just know I love her anyways, and yes I do have one more! This picture is for you Mom, I know you wanted one of Canyon in the outfit from the Azores.
My second love as most of you know are my horses! It's not a close up but here they are in a great picture that includes the beautiful Teton Valley mountains (famous Teton peaks excluded of course). This is 6 of the 8. My personal horse is Justice. He is in the middle looking at me take the picture. Trenity's horse is Moose Love and she is the sweetest (also Justice's mother). Pepsi belongs to Nick. The rest belong to Trenity's dad. They're named Will Power, Tasha, Sunday, Red Dawn, and Lightning Suzie.
Me and my girls just goofing around.

Actually my first and greatest love would be for this goofball right here!! I don't think any other wife ever loved her husband so much!! And that's because no husband was ever so good to his wife! He still tells me every day how much he adores me and spoils me rotten! So to the horror of some of our family and friends (for blush the factor) after almost 11 years we still feel like newlyweds!

Trenity's Spotlight

So I thought I would do a spotlight post on each member of our family. Trenity is the best dad in the whole world!! Just ask the judges!
By FAR Trenity's favorite thing to do in the world is fly!! Look how happy it makes him. :D
This is a shot of the Indian Creek Airstrip. When Trenity worked for Salmon Air in Salmon, Idaho he got to fly the back country mountains of the Frank Church Wilderness Area. This tiny little airfield (gray line to the lower left of the lake) was his favorite to fly into. Due to the surrounding mountains you couldn't approach the runway from straight on at a low altitude. He had to do a maneuver I call "The Swirly of Death" (actual name Steep Spiral) to loose altitude almost directly over the runway for his landing.

This Cessna 310 is the plane that Trenity did his Multi-engine certification in. He LOVED this part of his training!

Ask And Ye Shall Recieve

Back by popular demand! Here is an updated photo of our growing boy (3 months old-This picture was taken Oct 13th). Isn't he just adorable!! Tia Lysa gave him these pooh toys. He LOVES them! He will snuggle with them for an hour if you let him and still not get bored.

Just as a side note, I just downloaded my digital camera pics from the last 4 months. So I will be posting some stuff that is old but you'll like it anyway.

Scarry!

So this is what my girls looked like this summer after 1 week of camping with swimming lessons twice a day with their grandma Fullmer. Yes this is the condition they were returned to me in. (I didn't go with them because I was 9 months pregnant at the time.) I unreasonably expected that their grandma would at least give them a bath the night they returned to civilization before driving home to me. Silly me!!

A mother's JOY!!

And they LOVE to do it!!!!!! Now let us all pray together that it stays that way!

Little Coach

Jossi does not like to be left out of anything! So when Dad goes running she has to go too! I don't know how much exercise Trenity gets at this pace but it has to be better than nothing right!

GETTIN' FIT

So as many of you know, Trenity is whipping himself into shape for his "Agency" physical fitness testing. I have delightedly jumped on board as his workout buddy and personal coach!! Maybe we'll get in shape together. It seems to be a popular theme lately. Jen, Us, Marilee, even Gabe (of course he's probably already fit). So we found a good workout that was manly enough for Trenity to do (apparently my "Bounce Back After Baby" video had a little too much estrogen for him!). TAE-BO with Billy Blanks. We love it! EXTREMELY HARD!!!!!!!!! But awesome!! Good Luck to all of you that have fitness as a goal on your blogs. And wish us luck too, Trenity will probably be alright but I'm going to need it.

So I thought I would add this so you could see what our goal is. This is the official scoring for the "Agency" test. Click this link to see the scoring scales http://www.fbijobs.gov/11131.asp#1 You need a minimum of 12 points to pass the test. We did a practice test to see where we were at. IT WAS NOT PRETTY!!! I don't have the guts to tell you our scores! I recommend testing yourselves just for fun. It gives you a great way to measure your progress in a FITNESS way, not just looking at the scales or inches. If we can score a 12 on this test I think we would all be pretty healthy! Skinny is great for us girls, but I know I'm more interested in GOOD HEALTH! And if I retest periodically I will be able to see my # slowly rising and that's always an esteem booster that helps you recommit and keep going!

Tether!

Natalia is very proud of the fact that she was 2nd place tether ball champion of her old school. It was a big deal at recess when they 'competed'. So one day when we were picking the girls up from school she challenged Daddy to a game. We quickly discovered the secret to her success. Apparently nobody knew how to play it with the Rules. Anyways...as a parent shouldn't you 'let' your child win??? Trenity felt a little too gratified in completely SMASHING a 9 year old little girl in competition with a huge smile on his face. Hee Hee!!!
